"Ernst" | Capture One Style
“Ernst” is a Capture One Style for Fujifilm cameras, based on the ‘Eterna’ film simulation. “Ernst” is inspired by consumer film of the 1990’s, albeit with a lot more latitude.
No preset is one-size-fits-all. Each one works better in some scenes than others in regards to lighting and colors in the frame. “Ernst” was designed for use in mixed light, with the highest contrast in sun and the lowest contrast in shade. It’s perfect as-is, but you can adjust contrast to taste, of course. “Ernst” increases color contrast in scenes with yellow and green while having a bit of a faded look.

“Ernst” was processed with Fujifilm X-Pro3 files in Capture One 22. To use it, you just need a Fuji that has access to Eterna. This look could also be used with Classic Chrome, with (much) punchier results.
